Ramie for cotton spinning

Known as the 'Queen of Fibers', hemp has many advantages, including air permeability, moisture absorption, resistance to insects and mildew, anti-static and anti-radiation effects. Linen fabric is relatively full, generally using plain and twill weave; ramie fabrics are looser and have a larger gap between warp and weft, so generally using plain weave. In addition, ramie is easier to color than linen, and the color of the finished product will be brighter.Ramie fabric is lighter than linen and is 20% lighter than cotton at the same grade. In the past, ramie fabric was stiffer and rougher than linen. But with the continuous maturity of the washing process, the air permeability and coolness of ramie, as well as the price advantage, ramie is becoming more and more superior to linen fabric. Here is to introduce ramie fiber.

a.Anti-bacteria, Anti-mite and Anti-odour.

The special ultra-fine micro-pore structure inside the ramie fiber gives it a strong adsorption capacity, and after sun exposure, it can volatilize the adsorbed harmful substances so that its adsorption function can be automatically regenerated. The ramie fibre is rich in a variety of natural anti-bacterial trace elements, which can effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria and mites and play a role in antibacterial and odor prevention.  The ramie fibre is also effective in preventing secondary contamination of textiles by bacteria and mites. After repeated washing 50 times, its antibacterial effect was 99 %.

b.Good Moisture Absorption and Air Permeability, Fast Perspiration and heat Dissipation

Ramie fiber has grooved cavity in the middle and porous wall, so the air permeability and moisture dissipation are about 3 times higher than cotton fiber.

c.Tough, Small Extension, Anti-mildew, Wear Resistance and Not Easy to Corrosion

Ramie fiber is very tough, strong and has small extension. It is not easily corroded by mildew and insects. so it is known as "soft gold that does not rot for a thousand years".

It prevents skin irritation and itching. Ramie is grown without any chemicals and is resistant to various pests and diseases, making itself a typical green crop that has been tested to meet the standards for infant use.

e.Anti-ultraviolet

The UV transmittance of ramie fiber is less than 0.6 %, and its UV resistance is 41.7 times that of cotton.
